On 1 May, 2018 a project “Strengthening integration chances of children and youth with disabilities into society through generating the opportunities of information, education and employment in Western region of Azerbaijan” has started to be implemented by Ganja Euro-Atlantic Information Center with the financial support provided by the Council on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The project aiming at strengthening integration opportunities of children and youth with disabilities living in Ganja city, Goygol and Samukh regions into society seeks to provide newly qualified opportunities in the spere of enhancing social inclusion of children and youth with disabilities. On 30 May, 2018 Ganja Euro-Atlantic Information Center staff participated at the event organized by the partner organization United Aid for Azerbaijan (UAFA) on the occasion of the International Children’s Day –June 1. During the event, UAFA Ganja Community-Based Rehabilitation Center’s beneficiaries -children with special needs involved in project “Strengthening the cross-border partnership in provision of new social services for children with disabilities in Ganja-Qazakh region of Azerbaijan and Kvemo-Kartli region of Georgia” funded by the European Union, gave their song and drama performances.

On 24 May, 2018 there was a meeting with the representatives of the partner organization United Aid for Azerbaijan (UAFA) at Ganja Euro-Atlantic Information Center. UAFA delegation was represented by project coordinator Sevinj Rzayeva, director of Ganja Community-Based Rehabilitation Center Razala Abbasova, expert in child protection and social work Joanne Shutt, as well as other UAFA staff members.
